The family is going to meet at Buca Di Beppo and have "authentic" Italian food; nothing else will suffice for Tony because he's been rediscovering his Italian Pride for two years now, and he wants some "real" Italian food. I don't know what he's talking about, like real Italians eat chicken parm. They don't even have chickens in Italy.
I hate the restaurant and refused to eat there because they once had a man dressed as the Pope outside handing out fliers, but apparently my family doesn't feel so picky about it.
The real fun won't be T's birthday, it will be the fireworks. My parents are at each other's throats over the usual bullshit. If they follow tradition, they'll have a huge fight right before the dinner and then we'll all eat in strained silence.
I forgot to buy Tony that gold horn. Oh well, better late than never.
