I got home from running errands and doing banking at 6pm and then worked on graphics/articles for my site until 1am.I keep thinking I should rest my eyes, but... my only other entertainment options would be a.) reading b.) playing a vintage video game c.) drawing. None of which is good for resting the eyeballs, though each highly entertaining. Anyway, my eyes already need Coke bottle-thick glasses, so that's what they get for being myopic.

I'm working on making a doll-maker. It's this huge thing on the Internet; basically a web page with graphics (like playing dress-up with cartoon bits) that you can click and drag to make a little "doll". The script to make the click-and-drag page is simple, but I spent tons of time making my own graphics.

The current doll maker graphics are mostly primitively done .gif work that is recycled to death. It's funny to go to a doll maker's web site and have them warn you very strongly not to STEAL the graphics they've stolen from others.

Anyway, I think that and the quizzes I've been working on will generate some decent traffic to the site, along with other goodies to keep people entertained. I hope. The downside could be that my goodies entertain people, eat up a huge amount of bandwidth, and nobody buys my stuff, but I refuse to entertain the idea. Working on the site is enormously satisfying, though, so that's probably why I don't fret. An even better substitute for my long-dead zine.
