I recently installed Semagic, a client for LJ. I don't know what client everyone is using, but Semagic is really wonderful, especially for those of us prone to getting booted during long, overheated sessions revising our entries.

It has all the standard LJ formatting tools neatly in a toolbar, a large viewing window, a handy "Preview" button, and it allows you to save a draft so that you don't have to worry about being booted while you're writing a long entry... it's low in fat, freshens your breath, and it shaves superclose!
