OMG I want a pirate with colored hair! I'm still waaaaay happy about Amity Jane and her pirate kitty, but ZOMG PUNK ROCK PIRATE! In addition to squeeing my pants over the hair color on this doll, I also lurev her necklace and her pretty blue eyeshadow. Nice! Is it weird that in addition to wanting all your dolls I also want t-shirts of them?
Yes, it is weird, but an intriguing idea. You gots me thinking now...
Maybe I should take pictures of them holding signs with typical t-shirt slogans on them. Beam me up Scotty! There's no intelligent life down here! or something.
I hope this doesn't come off as offensive, because that is the exact opposite of my intentions, but . . . Somehow I find myself reminded of one of these dudes:
. . . Well, I always thought that the grey alienss were a little bland looking, and could do with a little color in their lives. And hair.
I'm probably weird. Yeah, probably. Cough. I'll go far away now.
What an awesome idea. I never noticed the parallel before, but my work always strays towards big eyes/little-to-no mouth, and I didn't realize how Schwa that was.
Being a total nut about alien myth (or just a total nut) I've always liked the theory that, should the greys exist, one of goals could be to acquire useful human traits. Emotions? Actual reproductive organs? Personally I've always suspected they want hair.
Hey there -- I'm the gal that's putting up the website with croshay and skamamawa.
My e-mail address is josi@weirdmirror.org.
I'd like to get started on the website design for ArtOfCrochet.com, and I'd love to know your suggestions. As well, I'd like to work out something regarding some kind of trade or compensation for you -- I am a firm believer in making sure people feel appreciated and rewarded for work well done.
If you wanted to make a more long-term committment to the website, I'd also like to include a commission on all sales. I think that is only fair, because it is the website and its design that draws people in, and maintenance can be time consuming. Anyway, drop me a line when you get the chance.

If true this will probably look like a cross between Close Encounters and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.
